Sizzle is our 19 year old Half-Arabian gelding. He is our jack-of-all-trades, handling beginner lessons to advanced riders. He has shown in the Hunter Pleasure, Sport Horse, and Academy Huntseat.

Sizzle is now training towards a future in Country English Pleasure and Academy Saddleseat.

Whether you are stepping swinging over for your first lesson or your first show, Sizzle is the horse for you!

Queenie is a 19 year old Half-Arabian mare.
She is our ultimate beginner-intermediate lesson horse and is often the very first horse all our beginners will ride.

Queenie is a forward and sensitive ride with a more handy rider, so she is a wonderful teacher to challenge an intermediate riders skills.

Queenie has shown Hunter Pleasure in the past but has left Performance behind and is our Academy Saddleseat lesson horse.

Char is a 20 year old Half-Arabian Mare. She has an extensive show record in Hunter Pleasure, Sport Horse, Dressage, Western Dressage, Ranch, and more. While she is more of an intermediate ride, she offers a wealth of expertise for our riders.
She is a new addition and we are gearing her up to return to the show ring in Huntseat Equitation, Ranch, and Western Pleasure.

Sirocco is our 8 year old Arabian gelding.

Sirocco is Josie’s personal horse who she allows her more advanced riders to lesson on. He is beginning is show career in Hunter Pleasure and Ranch Rail, and is training towards a future in Western Pleasure

Pandora is a 5 year old Haflinger mare who came to Josie as a very skittish, mainly unhandled, medical rescue case.

Pandora had an extremely severe case of ocular squamous cell carcinoma in her right eye and was living in an extreme amount of pain. Josie worked with Midwestern University quickly to have the eye removed.

Pandora is now very healthy and happy pony, has been successfully started under saddle and now has a new home up north as an eventing pony.

Carlos was a 25+ year old mustang gelding who helped Josie establish her lesson program when she moved to Buckeye. He was dead broke, bombproof, and the perfect ride for little kids starting out. Carlos worked only 3 months for Josie before being retired for his physical health. He had a happy retirement for 2 years before he was laid to rest on a good day.

He is very missed.

Kid is a 9 year old off-the-track Thoroughbred gelding.

Kid started out as Josie’s training horses. He left such an impression on her heart that when a year later, his owners reached out to see if Josie would purchase him, she leapt at the opportunity. We had hopes of him becoming Josie’s 1.20 jumper.

Unfortunately after taking time off for an injury, we discovered that Kid has a degenerative disease in his coffin bone. He was laid to rest and is very missed. With his retirement, Josie also retired from jumping.
